I am a potter and new to weaving. SAORI style weaving appealed to me because I love to weave and I don't see irregular weaving as an error! It is perfect; perfect for me. My banner is made using cheerful colors that remind me of my heritage which is mainly Scandinavian. I added a few embellishments, added some knots, let some threads hang loose; it was great fun. This weaving was a large, educational experiment and I hope that it will be a blessing to the project.”
